Review on CowboyStudio Speedlight Portrait Accessory Honeycomb by Mayrando Clark

Cheaply made - mostly junk

Cheaply made - I mean cheap. There are four plastic clips surrounding the flash mount that hold various accessories, and after some use they will inevitably break. Additional clips are included, but they also quickly broke after some use. Now there are no clamps and the product is useless. The included "softbox" and its colored inserts are a joke, but seriously. I have no idea how the heck this even works; I haven't figured out how to properly assemble the thing. Absolute rubbish. Typical CowboyStudio nonsense though: they never provide instructions for their products. As this only applies to SB600/800 flashes, you might as well throw this product away (if the clamps are still there) when purchasing/upgrading to SB90x. ). All in all about $10. more, you can purchase Strobos/Impact products and accessories from B&H (buy them individually, do not purchase the "Syl Arena Collection" and pay an additional $20 for this benefit). They're better made than that CowboyStudio crap and fit all types of flash. A few weeks ago this product was sent to the landfill. Live and learn I guess. It just sucks, but the lesson cost me almost $100.
