so I wear 8.5-9 M in US women. Usually 8.5 in sneakers and 9 in boots and heels. And when I saw the size difference was my size I decided to order both to make sure I got the right fit. Black Stars is a size 7-8.5 Aqua Blue is a size 9-10.5. See my photos for size comparison. Size 9 (Aqua) seems to be made differently and seems to fit great in a roomy size. As you can see from my photos, the foot pad extends well past the heel. 7-8.5 (Black Stars) are great! The toe pad ended very close to my heel and my toes only lightly touched the front (see last photo). This is the pair I chose! Both pairs are SO comfortable and soft. The colors/print are very pretty in person. I wore them on a trip to Florida and they worked fantastic! They protected my feet from hot sand and sharp objects in the water, no problem! I can't wait to wear them again. Highly recommended to all beach lovers!
