You can see that the corners on the filter are cut off. Most good air-purifying filters that use activated carbon have a real array of activated carbon beads through which the air flows. It seems that when it has everything, it just pours it into the black foam on the back of the filter. I wonder if this really qualifies as a HEPA filter. The device itself is ok (just a small fan) and the noise level is ok. I got this mainly for the activated charcoal for filtering odors, but it doesn't work at all for that. I want to test if it actually filters particles fine enough to be a HEPA filter and if it releases ozone. I recommend you buy another product, Medify Air makes some good systems. Reading these reviews makes me wonder if the people using it are just some sort of placebo or if good reviews are paid for. Fake reviews are a big problem at Revain, look for companies you know and trust them if possible!
