I bought it for both my phone and my husband's phone. I have an unbranded case for my phone and it fits perfectly, unfortunately my husband's phone has a strong Spigen protective case and it doesn't fit. It won't even sit on the lenses so the glue is useless. If you have a different brand case for your phone, get that, it works, but if it has a Spigen case, get the expensive Spigen brand, so I went with that.
