I use this deck regularly. The charge holds well, as stated, up to about 5 hours. I also use the first version. Different cons: One small drawback compared to the first version. The first version had a protrusion of the body over the metal grill along the edges, so when it fell, it hit the rubberized sidewalls. In the second, this grille is convex and without protrusions of the sidewalls above it, so when it falls, the paint on it is scratched.
