I live in an area with moderate to high water hardness, which has the potential for hair loss. After several rounds of filter research, I settled on this one because it has an 18-stage filter system (with higher filter efficiency) and is reasonably priced. The kit includes filter, cartridge, type and installation instructions. The installation instructions are easy to follow and it takes less than 10 minutes to complete the installation (since you have to lift the filter for around 2-3 minutes). I don't feel any change in water flow after installing this filter. I've been using it for a few days now and am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a water hardness reduction filter.
