Not recommended at all. Period. All instructions followed and thoroughly cleaned before use. When my hair started to deteriorate from use, I tested the TDS (Total Solvent Dissolved) with and without the filter. Regular tap water reads 30, but after the filter it reads 32. This means that substances are actually being added to the water, not removed!

My hair and skin feel like I didn't install anything. It leaks a little and slows down the water flow a bit. Thought I had had the experience, many of these reviews had the "just a shower speaks for itself" moment. I didn't look for this as my husband and I suffer from dry skin here in California. I will try again before sending it back.

I received my order on time and have been using this filter for 7 days. I'm not usually quick to write product reviews, but with this product I can feel the difference in the quality of the shower water. Since using this filter, I no longer smell chlorine in the shower. My skin is smoother and less dry. I also feel like the soap and shampoo now rinse off easily leaving a cleaner skin and scalp. I can absolutely recommend this product. You will not be disappointed.

I NEVER leave a review but it is guaranteed. The water in the water bottle is unfiltered water while the water in the small cup is shower filtered water. Does absolutely nothing. Save money because the claims are false.
