I recently got my hands (or should I say feet) on a pair of DC Mason 2 men's skate shoes in olive white and I have mixed feelings about them. On the one hand, the shoes look great – the olive drab colorway with white accents looks stylish and versatile, while the padded tongue and collar ensure a comfortable and snug fit. The outsole is thick and grippy, making it perfect for ice skating or any other sport that requires good traction. However, I had a few issues with these shoes that prevented me from giving them a higher rating. First, they run a bit small, so I would recommend getting half a size larger than usual. Even though the shoe is well cushioned, it doesn't have enough arch support, which can be uncomfortable for some people, myself included. Finally, the shoes are heavier, which can make your feet feel a bit weighed down after prolonged wear. Overall, I'd say that the DC Men's Mason 2 skate shoes are a decent option if you're looking for a stylish and durable skateboarding shoe, but they may not be for everyone. If you have a flat or low arch you should look elsewhere and if you prefer a lighter shoe this may not be the best choice. However, if you value comfort and traction, this shoe is definitely worth considering.
