How the zip is waterproof. Finding a waterproof, or even durable, TSA-compliant zipper for a small bag is surprisingly difficult. I wish the bag could be bought without the bottles but I've actually used a few of these and been very happy (the olive oil didn't seep into my bag). !). Only criticism is that the bag is difficult to close when open. With the logo facing you, the fully closed zip is on the right side. Opening sucks. But there isn't a good place to grab hold of when you zip up the right side. There's a flap to hold on to, but it doesn't help much because it's not a sturdy bag. I've just started avoiding the full opening so I can pinch the right corner and zip up.
