As another reviewer has suggested, the forearm literally *can't* point away from the wall once this supernatural abomination is in place. How general. This puts it at *half* the maximum distance to the wall that it seems at first glance (which is clearly not enough). Given that 1) this product is supposedly designed to be attached to a wall, as I've been told, and 2) walls are physical objects that take up space in our reality, I feel like this makes them in the Living rooms have certainly not allowed themselves to be encumbered with something as exotic as basic functionality. I would 100% recommend purchasing if you plan on standing halfway into a wall during use.
