This answering machine is identical to the one I had that died. It's easy to find answering machines built into new phones these days, but I have a home office at home with a two-line phone. The first (house) connection already has a telephone with a built-in answering machine and for the second business connection I needed a new, separate answering machine. The whites were supposed to last two weeks but luckily there was still a black in stock and easily accessible. It was easy to set up; I already know how to use it; and I pray they continue to make them for those of us who still need them!
