I have been looking for a 5 watt wireless solution for business and private use for several years. The radios are very well made and durable. They were very easy to put together and fully charged faster than I expected. I've only tested the radios so far for about a mile and the performance was unlike any radio I've found for civilian use. It is important to follow the charging and discharging instructions as this will greatly improve battery performance and lifespan. The negative point I can really say is that it takes a lot longer to drain the battery than I expected, which is really good. Best price I've seen for this type of rugged and reliable radio. Law enforcement radios like this start in the $500-$600 range for a basic radio.
