Review on Apple iPad Pro 11-inch Smart Keyboard Folio - US English by Sean Ceo

The Apple keyboard for my 11 inch iPad Pro is very good. It's actually quite comfortable to type on considering it's thin and small. Somehow, this iPad tablet and keyboard combo is the perfect middle ground between my 13-inch MacBook Pro and my iPhone X. Superbly portable, as powerful as iOS, and very well built from seemingly premium materials and components. The three main disadvantages of this folio are: 1) no holder or other solution for the Apple Pencil. There has to be a clean design decision that could be added to this pencil folio without ruining its overall aesthetic. When closed, the pencil is easy to detach and potentially fall and lose. For $129 new (pencil) that would suck. Second, the damn price of this thing. Having put an escarole aside for the iPad Pro itself, it's almost insulting that neither that damn tome nor the Apple Pencil is included. I paid but I think $179 is too much. I think Apple is aware that people like me pay a fee, even if we think it's too expensive. Pooh. Apple really beats us on the price of accessories and doesn't include everything that should come with the iPad Pro. Thirdly, this is the lack of a backlight on the keyboard. For $179, this thing should have at least a backlit keyboard. Point. The folio offers good, but not great, protection for the iPad. When the iPad falls into the case or is misplaced, I see a scenario where the iPad comes out and gets damaged along with the tome. I read a few reviews berating this keyboard for not having a trackpad, but oh well. I don't think that's entirely fair given the smoothness and cleanliness of this design. I find it mostly unnecessary. Just because I'm so used to working on my Mac, I sometimes miss the trackpad. Overall, I still really like this keyboard and what makes it good.
