This is a vent-proof mount for the Apple iPhone 12 (or other MagSafe-compatible devices) that can also charge your phone wirelessly. Several companies make similar mounts that don't charge, and I think this is the only one that 1) attaches to a vent, 2) attaches to the phone with a magnet, and 3) charges the phone. The part that attaches to the vent actually has a screw clamp that bites into the vent. Then there is a ball part that connects to the extension and a second ball part that connects to the magnetic mounting and charging plate. It is possible to do without the extension cable and connect the mounting and charging pad directly to the bleed clamp via a ball joint. The mounting and charging pad has a hard black cable that terminates at about 3 feet. to the USB-C connector for power supply. This mount can be used without a power plug as MagSafe does not use power to attach the phone to the mount and charging pad, but then of course the phone will not charge. I've used this mount with my iPhone 12 (non-Pro) both with and without the Apple MagSafe leather case and it attaches well in either configuration. The mount will not secure or charge my Pixel 5 (not that I thought so, just pop it in in case anyone wants to know) whether I'm using a small metal magnetic mounting plate or not. If you have an iPhone 12 that you want to be able to attach with magnets in front of the vent and also charge, this is the only option.
