So, after everything that's been happening about PFA and the cosmetics industry lately, I've decided it's time to switch to more natural brands. I bought this one and so far I really like its formula. It does not crumble and does not smudge. Given my super "cool", super oily skin, that's rare. For example, in the days of George W. Bush, the US would probably have invaded my face instead of the Middle East. So, I didn't expect that to happen. General. That doesn't happen with the waterproof mascaras that are in the news right now, so I really didn't know what to expect from anything else. But it is so fabulous! 2 coats and I'm done! Not fabulous, wand. But I have incredibly deep-set, almond-shaped eyes, so it's not a brand or product specific issue. This happens with several types of mascara. Unfortunately, this wand puts mascara all over the place while I'm trying to apply it to my lashes. When I'm done I'll look like a raccoon. Thankfully, it scratches your skin as it dries, but it's still quite annoying. I started using my previous mascara wand (a spiked silicone wand that I had cleaned and sanitized) and used this instead of the real one. It works pretty well and I wear mascara on my lashes instead of my eyelids. Formula.
