I stir mine in a tall glass of water. There can be a total of 8 ounces of the mixture. The taste isn't that bad. The juice I got didn't expire. Others complained that they had expired. I didn't notice any results but I could feel a little better. I also consume a lot of other things with it. Others complained of indigestion. I may have a small stomach upset, but I've only had two so far. While they may taste better chilled, I only drink mine at room temperature. But I dilute. Some foods I eat with it: pomegranate juice, tomato soup, broccoli, sweet potatoes, fish, b. Rice, Lentils, Almonds, Turmeric, Garlic Tablet, L-Citrulline, Vitamin, Skyr, Banana, Protein Powder. Now it's a big part of my morning diet. I can add ground flaxseed. Because of the high cost, I might as well buy a juicer and make my own, maybe not with beets.
