That's the CHEAP thing about this cheap tripod

We all know before we hit add to cart that a tripod for $30 or more isn't going to be top notch in every way. Most of us who buy just want the basics, but here are the definitive pros and cons of this tripod. PRO:-IT'S CHEAP.-IT'S HIGH. I've seen very few in this price range that go up to 60 inches, as well as 17.5 (which I need too). - IT IS LIGHT (perhaps to its detriment) Cons: - IT IS NOT THE STRONGEST. (not top notch either) Tripod that recently broke its leg after years of use. The slender legs of this Endurax are structurally sound on their own, but pairing them with the very dubious center axle is a real challenge. Nothing on the 3-point axle is fixed, and when you push the center neck up, the neck tube moves off the axle, affecting strength. - IT IS EASY. Usually, tripods come with a hook on the bottom of the neck for attaching sandbags. but this tripod probably couldn't handle the extra weight. I've knocked it over twice in the short time I've had it compared to my old tripod which I can't remember the last time it actually fell over. If you're buying this one, be careful not to tilt it and your camera, which is one of the key aspects of the tripod that's missing here. g.-QUICK PLATE NOT PROVIDED. Quick Release is not fast at all. I have to pull and remove the part from the tripod every time. My old tripod had a similar simple removable plate, but the release was instant when I pulled the handle. Although the plate is advertised for Canon, it covers the battery compartment on my T3i so I have to move the plate every time I change the battery. Again, my old inexpensive tripod did not have this problem.

Pros
  • . Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • fading
