New product for me but it's what is recommended

Since I am just starting out with my new Hobby the Bonsai plants I am following the recommendations and some suggestions about the types of soil available, Akadama seems to be mentioned on different video and websites. I am still beginning so I can't tell you how well it works because there are so many factors to being successful with all the different types of plants.

Pros

first time using akadama and it seems to be really good quality, no complaints here.

Cons

The soil may not be able to retain nutrients for long periods
