I use this stuffing all the time for dolls and other plush toys, decorations and all kinds of items that need stuffing. I keep a lint roller handy when I work with it. There's really no way to avoid 'falling out' - the best way to describe the random fibers falling on you and your workspace. I love that it's washable and made from recycled material. It separates easily so you can fill it little by little so the filling is even and there are no lumps. Each bag comes with a wooden chopstick to help you fill and evenly distribute the filling, especially in the corners - if you lose it, just use a chopstick. I do not prefer this pillow filler. I just don't think it fills pillows comfortably enough. It's odd that it's very resistant to cracking, but still flattens out fairly quickly, after just a few weeks or months depending on use. Stuffing more in to avoid this will make the pillows uncomfortably firm. Despite this, I prefer to use organic and hypoallergenic fillings (preferably latex) for pillows whenever possible. However, if I'm making them on a budget, I'll either find some thoroughly cleaned cushions and take them apart for commercial quality filling (then donate or recycle the outer fabric), or I can get the true pillow shape with 50% off coupon/sale. I will be using this fiberfill to complement decorative pillows that are aged and out of shape/flattened and cannot be fully restored by tumble drying. I just add a little to spice it up when I don't have another favorite pillow filling on hand. This polyfill will beard (i.e., "pierce") many fabrics. If you are using it for a cotton baby doll I would recommend a double layer of fabric. If you are going to use it as a pillow I would recommend making a pillow shape that you fill first before gluing the shape into the outer shell or cover. A fusible link also helps to solve the beard problem. This stuffing normally costs about 3 here at Revain, $50 as an add-on item. That's a decent price - it's kind of like buying it at craft stores for 50% off, and that's the only way I'm going to buy it. A fusible link also helps to solve the beard problem. These fiberfills are usually around $3.50 as an additional product here at Revain, which is a decent price - it's about like I buy them at craft stores for 50% off, which is the only way to buy them .
