Review on E-SS515C Open-Toe Sandal with Clipless Design by Mike Davis

I have been cycling long distances for over 30 years and normally wear cycling sandals which I often wear every day for 4-6 weeks. Over time I used 8 pairs of Keen bike sandals of different models until the company stopped making bike sandals for SPD. I've tried other brands including previous Exustar models as well as the popular Shimano sandals but didn't find adequate strap support and didn't like keeping my toes open when cross country riding. After 4 months and 2000 miles these Exustar sandals are holding up well (apart from the usual strap and bungee stretching over time), remain comfortable and in good shape, are relatively odor resistant and offer decent off-bike walking comfort. My only complaints are that they are relatively heavy (even by the standards of hard cycling sandals) and the colors are too "bright" and "cute" for my personal taste (in real life they are much "brighter" than on marketing photos) . recommend). However, since no other major manufacturer makes a similar model, I stocked up on two more spare pairs.
