Review on New Balance Girls Athletic Running Shoes in Garnet for Girls by Jessica Smith

My 7 year old son is very picky about his shoes. He is very picky about fit and style and refuses to wear one if it doesn't meet his comfort standards. As you can imagine, buying shoes can be a challenge for him. We've had luck with New Balance tennis shoes for him before, so I took a chance on these New Balance Kids Fresh Foam 860 v11 shoes. When I first got them I was a little worried because they have an odd shaped heel in the upper back. . You can see it in the photos if you look, I just didn't realize it when I got them or I probably wouldn't have given its finicky nature. They also looked a bit slimmer than the other New Balance tennis shoes he already owns. Luckily, none of the above seams were a problem. In fact, he didn't complain at all that they were chafing the back of his heel, which is small wonder as that's usually one of his main complaints. He said they are comfortable and I felt the foam inside and they sewed up pretty well. Overall I am very happy with them because he is happy with them! They seem perfect for him so far and they even look good. I may have to get another pair if they keep working.
