For the last two years we've been hobbling around on our $1,600 Jenn Air cooktop with the main burner off because we postponed a kitchen renovation that would result in a move to a much larger cooktop. Considering the extremely low price of the Gasland, I decided to take a chance before other reviews appeared. I'm very glad I did this. It looks fantastic and works really well once you get the hang of it, and the finish is holding up much better than our Jenn-Air which was badly damaged almost immediately. Take some time to get familiar with the controls, including the burner-by-burner timer which is super cool!
