I wanted something more hygienic than a washcloth, washcloth or sponge because they all spoil so quickly as they retain water after use. I had a little silicone face scrub that I bought from Big Lots a long time ago that didn't impress me (included in the comparison pics) but I figured it was time to reconsider the idea as at least it's never gross was . Pros: They are comfortable to wear from head to toe. They wash and dry very well. They lather very well. The bristles are long enough but not too long. They do not absorb odors and can be sterilized if necessary without damaging the brush. Cons: Finger loops may not fit thumbs / may be too wide for very thin fingers.
