It gets the job done but in a few months you'll have to go back and mount the arms on the main support tube if you don't want the wipers squeezing when wiping be kept away from the windshield. Basically, the main support tube pushes slightly against the wiper arm mount, loses traction and starts to move. I drilled a hole and put a mounting screw in it, but it doesn't seem to last more than a year or so. This is more of an OEM design flaw, but aftermarket manufacturers don't put much effort into fixing it. At least it's better than the plastic mounts on the wiper arm bracket.
