Review on πŸŽ’ Enhanced Super 2.0 18L Tank Bag by Marklen Baeskens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great tank bag! - Accessories

Let me start by saying that I'm familiar with Cortech tank bags as I have the 12 liter Super 2.0 version on my 2005 Yamaha FZ6 and love them. I've been looking for a roomy tank bag for my 2012 dual-sport BMW G650GS for a year, but never found one that would stay on top of the tank without dangling (I've tried at least half a dozen different brands). Finally decided to try the 18 liter Super 2.0 and it's a keeper. This is a large tank bag, both in size and capacity, and is basically a 12 liter pack with a fold out zipper that opens it up to 18 litres. The strapped base (I wanted the strapped version since BMW has a plastic "tank" which is actually the airbox where most bikes have the fuel tank) covers the entire gap from the handlebars to the front of the seat. with the last two inches under the seat. Other than that, it's a very solid mounting platform with very little side-to-side wobble like other bags I've tried. The bag attaches securely to the base with three quick release clips and features hidden, stowable backpack shoulder straps and a front grab handle for easy portability. The case is very durable, made from 1680 and 1800 denier material, with plenty of storage pockets and two built-in handset/headphone ports. Neoprene inner lining to protect your belongings. included. The only weak point for me is the card slot - it's quite large, but it's very difficult to slip the card through the narrow hole under the front latch. A full width opening would make this bag almost perfect. I would highly recommend the Super 2.0 to anyone who has a bike big enough to fit inside.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
