I bought this table to put in my son's hospital room. It's a decent size - slightly larger than wheeled trays. It's a solid desk overall, but at one point we had a laptop on it and the top fell off the base and the computer fell to the floor. It could have been a functional error on the product page, or maybe we didn't have everything in place - I don't know. I just recommend being very careful when using this for a project where the topside content might be a problem :P. Otherwise it's very solid and I've only had one instance of the problem so I'm prone to it to believe it's all my fault. The table and legs are individually very strong - they won't bend or bend, no matter the project. We love it and are thinking of buying more to donate to the Children's Hospital where we live now. It is easy to store, easy to move.
