Cables used to be a weak point in the stereo I use every day, but not with this cable. It's holding up well compared to my other components which are starting to develop bad compounds after months of daily use (say 8+ hours a day). I use this cable on my desktop and move it around often so it doesn't get in the way of other hardware and isn't left untouched. Cheap cables tend not to last as long (often problems after about 6 months as my equipment wears out) and are a weak point, but not this cable. It's still as good as the day I bought it 9 months ago.
