Remove only the 2 inch high part. To remove this part there is a plastic pin on the driver's side and one on the passenger side Be there after removing the push pins, simply pry up one part with your fingers and a screwdriver (YOU'VE JUST COMPLETED THE MOST DIFFICULT PART OF THE TASK) Now remove the 2 drivers side spring clamps that hold the 2 hoses to the radiator (place a drip pan underneath to catch the liquid) Now from the front of the vehicle remove the two 9/16 screws (one on each side of the radiator) holding the radiator it is easy to put the socket through the front end with a 6" extension to remove the bolts, now carefully bend the choke which is on the passenger side with it the old radiator gets past it. Now on the driver's side, twist the choke coils to the ground and gently slide the choke onto the driver's side while gently bending the choke. Take out the old radiator (you'll see you couldn't do this unless the car had been raised a few inches) Reverse the process, install the new radiator and reconnect the lines, fill When you remove the cap, have a helper turn the wheel from one rack to the other about 40 times. As long as you can hear air bubbles coming out of the power steering reservoir and top up if needed (steering wheel spins easily, my 10 year old daughter was my assistant) now replace the lower choke you removed. Now lift the car off the jack off the car and let it run for 2 minutes while turning the wheel strut on the strut about 5 times, check the fluid refill if necessary and you're done, less than 30 minutes total time.
