I got this because I needed a bedside table in my bedroom. I *thought* I could take out the top basket and put the coffee maker on a shelf, but I found that the baskets don't sit on the shelves, they sit on a wooden board. I still really like the stand, just wish there was a photo showing what was under the baskets! I would take something else to suit my personal needs. The baskets are sturdy and very large, just note that you cannot remove the basket and have an open shelf in there. I loved that it was completely intact, all I had to do was open the box and remove the packing material and it was ready to use!
