Happy to share with anyone interested: I tried to install this myself but the carpal tunnel in both my hands didn't let me reach the top mounting bolt (only 2 bolts to mount). I chose the other way. I went to our local GM dealership to get an estimate for the installation. I was told they will not install it as this part is not a genuine GM part. The dealer charged $100 for the GM part and $187 for (2 hours) labor. Total cost per part, labor, taxes and ? The fee was just over $300. I went to a trusted local mechanic and they installed my $70 part (45 minute job). My total cost (parts and labor) was less than $100 for my 2004 Pontiac Vibe. Thank you for a great offer. Fred B<><
