I found a putting lane that successfully trains muscle memory for a clean square line shot. It's also good for getting a feel for back and forth movement length. If you're worried about it being plastic now like I am, don't worry. It's still stable enough to work well. If you're really worried about it moving when you hit it, you can attach these little rubber furniture pads to the legs. I like the adjustable mirror on the rear crossbar. This will help you check the line of the target ball once your eyes are directly over the line. One limitation might be limited lane width settings (e.g. one might be slightly wider, another might be too narrow given the width of your racquet). It would be better if the setting was infinite, but I don't see that as a problem. Adjusting the width by pressing the small metal buttons is a little tricky, but not bad. I've found that if you spend enough time with him, you'll feel MUCH more confident about putting on the field over putts.
