Review on Derby Premium Double Razor Blades by Busaba Lek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Different pros: Good sharp blades. They shave equally well in the Edwin Jagger 89 and in the unnamed Chinese variation of the Rapier loom. Very thin - if the green Derby bends very slightly, then the black ones are very bendy, perhaps they will go well in slants (I don’t have a slant cutter, so I can’t vouch for this). In terms of sharpness, subjectively - not as sharp as Feather, about on par with Bic Chrome Platinum, but black Derby is softer than Bic. The shave is comfortable and reasonably economical, so far I've shaved 4 times with one blade and it's still sharp. I think 6 times the blade will definitely withstand. So one box should be enough for me for 4 years, which pleases. In terms of aggression, I would put them (also subjectively) somewhere in 4th place: Feather > Bic Chrome Platinum > Muehle > Derby Premium > Derby Extra. I like. Cons: Perhaps, only a minor quibble - there is a bit too much glue on the packing paper, you have to carefully remove it from the package, peeling the blade off the paper. But this is a trifle, it does not affect the shaving process.
