You're buying a headlight, so you should know what you're getting. But I'll go into everything briefly. Easy Drawing: I was planning on dragging this tip down, but it turns out that wearing the tip up gives a very quick capture. You tuck your thumb in your pocket and essentially already fully hold the flashlight, your thumb is already in place to activate the tail switch. Ideal for tactical situations. Limit Switch: Has kind of a long stroke before it goes fully into constant mode, but I like it because it gives you more wiggle room to leave it on for a moment without accidentally pressing it. The user interface is also simple and easy to use. Clip: The clip is awesome. It's strong enough not to fall out but smooth enough that the pattern is very smooth and won't snag on anything. Very useful in a tactical situation. I was afraid the clip would be flimsy because of the photos, but this is a very durable clip. You can even clip it to a hat or shirt collar for hands-free use. It hides well in the pocket and doesn't stick out like you might think. The Beam: It's a bit strange. There is a blue ring around the overflow area and a slightly orange glow around the hotspot. But it's very bright and can blind someone, which is what I was looking for. 500 lumens are bright! The low mode is great for EDC use and won't blind you. Flash is slow enough to be effective. Construction: Very strong, yet very light. Nice and thick, also has good seals and the threads are lubricated. If you're familiar with the amazing protac 2AAA, you'll find that the finish is slightly different. I personally like this finish better and have found that it doesn't wear out like my old headlight.
