Review on WELLAND Floating Shelves Display Deeper by Tammy Thomas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful shelf, just use your common sense

So that's a good shelf. The size is hard to beat. If you have one hand, you can attach it to a pair of bobby pins. I ordered 36 inch. The bracket feels a bit flimsy and someone with a knack for welding could easily add a couple of corner supports in about 5 minutes and the shelf still closes it. However, a 36-inch shelf is only rated for 30 pounds if it's "evenly distributed." Just to test how durable it is, I put a 50 pound bag of cement right on the rim. It actually contained 2 50lb bags but looked like a 300lb bearded man who decided to drive his wife's Sportster. Carrying two 50-pound sacks, he begged for mercy and began falling off the wall like a pair of plumber's jeans two sizes larger as he bent under the sink. Overall I would recommend them, I plan to load them up a bit more but as long as the plumber stays away from them I think they will work for me.

Pros
  • SPACE SAVING & STYLISH: Elegant straight lines, doesn't take up too much space, seems to be floating. Smooth and level surface.
Cons
  • So-so
