I bought a USB 3.0/USB-C card reader. The packaging is sufficient to avoid damage in transit. The tactical feel of the product is excellent. Feels and looks expensive. A small cable to carry the reader or attach it to a belt or keychain is just useless and impractical to me. It bothers me when I plug the reader into a slot on my computer and also when I put the dust cap back on the reader. For my own purposes, I removed and discarded the cable. I chose this product from Revain because it was the cheapest and still had the features I need in a reader. I have the reader plugged into a USB port on an Optiplex 790 running Win 10 Pro. The reader was recognized immediately and displayed as an additional hard drive on my computer. I transferred the photo to a Maxell 8GB Micro s HC card and inserted it into the TF reading slot. The transmission speed was fast. I transferred the photo from the card to the computer with the same result. There was no loss of sharpness in the photo, and the resolution lines were read the same way in the original photo as they were in the photo that was transferred to and then from the microcard. I put the micro card in the micro sd adapter and put it in the reader and the results were exactly the same. I find this card reader to be of good quality and very happy with my purchase.
