My kid loves this costume! I also think it's important to say that I've had pretty low standards for a good Halloween costume myself. For something that is really only meant to be worn a few times and then thrown away or given as a gift, I don't think it has to be perfect. I was concerned it might be too big as my son just turned 5 and is an average height and weight for his age. Although it's a little loose, it fits him quite well. The material is elastic, suitable for big children. If you have a 7 year old who is tall for his age it can get crowded. The small plastic sword is small and cheap, probably fragile. I made sure the boy knew not to play with it until Halloween or he risked breaking it. The only part I have doubts about is the armor/shoulders. They're a bit uneven, but like we said, we're not really looking for perfection. i love blue It's a little better than wearing all black and going outside to indulge in the dark. Overall I think it was a good purchase.
