It looks a little purple in the picture on my computer, but it's a true dark blue. I agree with another reviewer that Fitbit should ship this with their products. I like the buckle and have a feeling it will hold up well. The only issue for me is that I have to wear it in the tightest opening to fit my wrist and I'm 5ft 6in and 135lbs. So if you are a very short person, it may be too big. I have another problem. is that the place you put the Fitbit is much narrower than the one that comes with the Fitbit. I'm a little worried it won't count properly as it covers the metal parts which I assume count your steps etc. Really I like it and I really like that it has 2 spots to put up excess tape to hold and not sticking out on the side like my original.
