My cats LOVE these things! You are not as unattractive as I thought! I didn't think they were very durable or very high quality materials because of the price. They are VERY well done! Super easy to assemble/install. There are wires in the branches so you can extend them and make them look pretty. At the base of the tree are small levelers for uneven ground. I also rotated the shelves on the tree to make it easier for the cats to jump to the next level. I didn't build them. I will tell you. My ONLY concern is that ONE of my 5 cats likes to chew on leaves. So if you have gum, please be careful. In the first 10 minutes my little guy managed to pull one. I had to hunt him down to get it from him. It was halfway down his throat! I was afraid he would swallow one. So I watch him like a hawk and don't let him use the tree or perches when I'm not home. After two days, he stops chewing them as hard. I hope he fully outgrows chewing. He's just a cat! I'm still excited about this find! I want to buy another tree for my outdoor cat! Only two leaves fell as I gathered the tree and manipulated the branches. The leaves have not fallen from the window bars.
