I misread the description and I think I saw pictures of women using this on a wooden floor. I was expecting a push broom and it's definitely not a broom! my fault The bristles are really spiky and hard so it cleans well. Just be careful not to use it on something that scratches easily. It was smaller than I expected but very light. I'm 5'11" and have to bend down a bit to use it, but it's not too bad. It seems a bit flimsy, so I'm not sure how long it will last in my house. We tend to be rough on things here. It comes together easily and is very easy to use. This is used outdoors and/or in my garage. It's useless in my house.
