I bought this primarily for travel. I often go to places with high humidity and I can't stand the feeling of "wet" in the beds and bathrooms of hotels in these places. I was worried it wouldn't be powerful enough and still be too loud (despite it being marketed as quiet). It worked like a charm! He cleaned and dried the bathroom after showering. We returned to the room after a day's walk, took down the bed, put the fan on the bedside table and left it running. In minutes the sheets were as dry as they were at home! AND Hush! Standing next to it, you could hardly tell it was on! The remote control I received is intermittent but…. B didn't buy it because of the remote control. And the bonus? It fits perfectly in this little nylon "backpack" I bought at a tourist trap for $5. So easy to carry to the hotel. So for me it was perfect for my needs and definitely value for money!
