We bought these light and dark gray sizes 9-10 for my 9 year old son who has a straight, slim build. They're long, just above the knee, but a little tight at the waist, which is surprising given how things usually sit on them. I would recommend buying one size or even two if your kids have a more athletic or heavy build. I don't use synthetic fabrics in my kids' clothes, so I love that it's 100% cotton. They will shrink if you wash the cotton in warm water or tumble dry, so keep that in mind when choosing your size. Good quality;
