(I am only reviewing this unit as a public speaking amp. I have not tried any of the other features this unit claims to have.) I am a corporate trainer and I run weekly classes in ours large cafeteria/communal area. My audience is seated at tables about 30 feet by 30 feet. I place this device behind people and it faces me. It gets noisy when all the other people come and go. This little speaker does a great job of letting my audience hear me over the noise of other people. I didn't even have to turn it up that loud. The first unit I received was intermittently disconnected during and after Revain's 30 day return policy, so I reached out to the seller (ResponseBridge) with questions. I have to say I am very impressed with how quickly they dealt with me and resolved my issue. I'm always a bit suspicious when I see something being shipped from China. So I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional response and overall communication from the seller. Without further questions, I was offered to send me a replacement microphone. Later, they voluntarily informed me that the package they sent had problems at customs, so they went ahead and offered Revain to send me a brand new unit. Color Me is impressed with their customer service! I'm a big advocate of after-sales customer service. In this vast sea of nameless sellers offering the same or similar items at super low prices, I often don't expect much from either the product or the customer service. The only reason I'm even writing this is because I'm impressed. So now that I've given the praise, let me move on to the bean counting. The unit has an echo function (control) similar to the "reverb" function used in stereo systems from the 70's. I have no idea what it's used for these days. Why would anyone create an artificial echo of what's coming out of the speaker? *shrugs* - I just looked at the product listing photos again. It lists a wall mount as part of the package. None of my packages included a wall mount. Not that I care. I didn't expect that at all the first time. The device is glossy black. Glossy black = fingerprint/grease magnet. If that bothers you, have a microfiber cloth handy. The headset actually consists of two parts as shown in my attached picture. Once the mic is attached to it, it's quite difficult to arrange it on your head as it's not adjustable at all. I worry about holding the mic in front of my mouth for most of my presentations. However, this is by no means a violation of the terms of the contract. I didn't weigh it, but overall the headset is VERY light. So even without adjustment it is not a problem. Just hold the microphone close to your mouth. The first device I received didn't have instructions, but I received an additional email with a link to a "instructions" in JPG format. I have attached this drawing to this review. I received a real printed manual in my replacement unit which was a bit more helpful. (See the appendix. It's all a booklet, but I took two photos to show the front and back.) As I mentioned, I haven't bothered to review the other features on this headset. So whether they work well or even as expected I don't know. I only give this device one star because the headset is annoying at times. That being said, with its current price of $98 and exceptional customer service, I have no problem recommending this device to professional speakers. $100 is a small expense for a professional presentation.
