This is exactly what I was looking for and thought I'd cut it to the size I need. We were laying the floors and didn't want the furniture to scratch them when they came back inside. This material is so thick I couldn't even cut it with my best pair of scissors! I had to use a serrated knife and then it slipped out of my hand and hit the floor leaving a small scratch on my new floor! :( I was so mad! I wouldn't buy them again. I've actually found good ones in many different sizes in one pack at the 99 cent store. I could buy multiple packs and they have worked much better. Unless , you'll use the whole square for something - don't bother cutting that thing is a nightmare!
