I'm so glad I bought this memory foam bed, it's worth every penny. My little 5 month old cat was diagnosed with grade 3 right medial patellar luxation (MLP) and had to undergo an expensive triple mini surgery to have the best chance of full pain free use of her right hind leg. all her life. So while preparing for the surgery and her 4-6 week recovery I found this bed and decided to give it a try. Let me just say that I have been a cat owner all my life and this is without a doubt the best cat bed I have ever used. It washes and dries well in the wash, it's soft and fluffy and the memory foam stays in place and it's so thick and like a marshmallow! Every other bed I've had over the years gets lumpy and the stuffed animal filling thins and loses its shape, creating empty spaces that are basically like lying on a hard floor. Not this one! This is just what I needed to keep my fluffy baby comfy and soft at the ankles during his recovery! If I ever need another cat bed, one of these will be it.
