Not so good Hardly fits in the dark πŸ˜•

This projector may be good, but it doesn't fit into the picture. It's almost the only one with a DVD player. Let's get into that. πŸ˜‰ In the best conditions, in the dark, it's visible, but very dark, opaque and sometimes grainy. Some things get sharp, e.g. B. Well-lit or bright outdoor shots or well-lit scenes. He has problems with the brown and red tones that are prevalent outside. The dark ones are too dark, you can't see anything, and the lights go out when you adjust the brightness and contrast. What looks good in one environment looks bad in another. Skin tones turn warm and overall colors are good outdoors but messy indoors. Much is overexposed, blurry or oversaturated. In low light conditions with diffused light, everything is cloudy. Best in complete darkness. This is with a 4k streaming stick and it's displaying 1080p. Interpolation, no doubt. Jump into the DVD player and that's where the biggest disappointment awaits. It's 480p. That's right 480r. looks worse Dirty opaque blurred through saturated and pixelated. It's like watching a bootleg on VHS. 😐 The sound from the built-in speaker is cheap, tinny and, if necessary, dull. BT connects quickly and easily, a bit finicky at times. The sound quality it puts out is good surround sound. Just buy a good soundbar or speakers. Keystone distortion is not enough. You must support this projector by placing it on a tripod. The focus is the same as many lower-end projectors. What is clear in one area is fuzzy in another. For this money it is better to buy a separate DVD player and connect it to the projector. The build quality seems fine, the remote control is fine, the options are fine, but we are talking about a device that displays an image and unfortunately the image quality is not that good and worse in the DVD function. Keep in mind that when you look at many of these reviews the pictures show that they look better than they really are because the camera they use corrects the picture. It has a DVD player, BT and 720p streaming but I wouldn't buy it again and wouldn't recommend it. UPDATE: I found a strange setting that can improve image quality, but only slightly. If you type DVD and press the setup button on the remote control, a menu will open where you can set up the video. More contrast, brightness, saturation, sharpness and hue adjustment. πŸ€” Only available when using DVD. These settings are more important than the normal menu settings. However, there is now a permanent disclaimer at the top of the screen that says "Device is not supported". It won't go away no matter what. 😐 Performance is low and rough for the money. If you look at my photos you can tell which are in natural light and which are in the dark. Note: If you have power flicker, the projector will turn on and stay on until you get home. Has happened to me twice. Just in case, to avoid a fire, I leave it disabled when not in use.
