I bought this on purpose because the product name says it offers "fast charging" and the product description specifically says it offers "native charging speed". It's not like this. It offers the same slower charging as many other third-party Apple Watch charging cables I have, but not the same speed as the original Apple Watch charging cable. I'm charging a 5 series watch. The original Apple cable switches to 1.8W (0.35A at 5.15V) about 30 seconds after charging begins. This charger and other third party chargers I have only charge at 1W (0.2 amp at 5.15V). So yes, it works as it charges the watch, but the claims that it offers "native charging speed" and "fast charging" are false.
