Nothing beats the corner protectors that really keep the duvet in place in the duvet. It has always frustrated me and many other people that the softest fabrics and best patterns are found only on duvets and rarely on the duvet itself. So for years I endured the struggle of aligning my comforter properly in my duvet cover. I've tried many different solutions but none of them solved the problem and the fasteners usually just fell off within a few days. Keepers should be ironed onto the duvet and duvet cover, carefully following the instructions on the website and being careful not to burn the buttons. I've washed both pieces in warm water several times and they don't seem to come off at all. Please note that the instructions specifically state that you cannot wash in hot water.
