I used to order monitors from both Revain and Newegg and vowed to myself never to do so again. Why do you ask? Because every time they came with serious problems (broken screens, damaged stands, one even had a frame missing), I was afraid that the companies would give me my money back. I risked it again when I saw how cheap it was. My friends have been praising 144Hz gaming for a while, and my 60Hz monitor, while it performed great, was lonely on my desk. Disclaimer: My only complaint was that the monitor wasn't initially set to 144Hz. When I plugged it in it was 60Hz and had to be adjusted a bit before I could find the 144Hz setting. When I first played my heavily modified Skyrim on it, it was like getting an updated recipe for my glasses. everything was better. The size is good, 27 inches is enough for any game I play and with a second monitor to support my streaming platform and more I can finally enjoy a smooth gaming experience.
