Put these in my base 2016 Impreza. It only came with 4 speakers and the audio always seemed to come out of my lap. These swings really help brighten up the music and send the sound right in your face. My only complaint is that they can sound a little scratchy depending on the song and the amount of bass. I've turned the bass down on the main unit's factory EQ and it's still trying to produce a too-low tone. I hope they settle down and sound better in the future. Assembly and installation was very quick and easy. On the base model, the wiring harnesses were pinned down, not leaving much room for the speakers to pivot. Pushing down the machine clamp gives you more freedom in wiring. Also, mount them so that the "K" tab is facing you when the strut is aligned. Edit: Downgraded to two stars. One of them still sounds terrible and even sizzles to classical music. It's too expensive when a tweeter fails within a year. The fit is comfortable and installation is easy, but it falls short for mediocre sound.
