I have a very old (I think about 11 years old by TV standards) Insignia HDTV LCD TV that the side buttons no longer work. The remote ended up shorting out and I was wondering where to find a new one - without it the TV didn't work. This remote control is perfect. No programming required. This is an almost identical remake of the original. The parts appear a bit lighter and some of the buttons are different colors than the original, but otherwise it is the same and works identically to the original remote. It even says "Insignia". If you need to replace the remote control with a small (bigger TVs use a different remote control) Insignia NS-LCD**-09 series and want it to flip open quickly, you should buy this remote control.
